Churches and organizations often know exactly what would help their people and have no way to get it made. We offer software development to them for free. Tell us the need. If it fits what we do, it goes on our roadmap and we build it with you.
Who this is for
Local churches, ministries, and organizations that serve people and have a practical need a piece of software could meet. Size does not matter. A church of forty with a real problem is a better fit than a large organization with a vague one.
You do not need technical staff, a budget, or a specification. You need to know who you serve and what keeps not working. We handle the rest, and we explain what we are doing in plain language as we go.
This is not a grant program, an agency, or a vendor relationship. There is no contract to sign, no invoice, and no catch. It is one of the ways Hedraios does what it exists to do: help the Word reach into everyday life, and share useful work so it does not stay in one place.
What we look for
We cannot build everything, so we say yes to the needs that fit these. If yours does not fit yet, tell us anyway. We will say so honestly and, where we can, point you somewhere useful.
A real need, not an idea for an app
Something people in your church or community are already struggling to do, and would do if it were easier. We start from the problem, not from a feature list.
It serves the mission
The work helps people engage Scripture, put faith into practice, remember God's faithfulness, or serve and encourage one another. A tool that only saves an office some admin time is a weaker fit.
Small enough to finish
One clear job that a small tool can do well. Large systems, replacements for your church management platform, or anything that needs a team to keep running are out of reach for us.
Someone who will use it and tell us the truth
A person on your side who will try early versions with real people and tell us what helps and what does not. This matters more than anything else on the list.
Useful beyond one place
We build for you first, and we keep the right to share what we make with other churches and organizations. Good ideas should not have to stay in one place. Your data and your people's data are never part of that.
Consistent with how we handle people
Anything we build follows the Hedraios privacy policy: nothing collected without explicit permission, nothing manipulative, nothing that pressures or shames.
How it works
You reach out
One email. Who you serve, the need you see, and what you have already tried. No proposal deck.
We talk
A conversation, usually by email or a call, to understand the need properly. Sometimes the honest answer is that software would not help, and we will say that.
It goes on the roadmap
If it fits what we look for, we add it to our roadmap and tell you where it sits. We are a small team, so we do not promise dates. We do promise to tell you the truth about where things stand.
We build it with you
You see early versions and put them in front of real people. What you tell us shapes what ships.
You use it, and so can others
You get the finished tool at no charge. Where it makes sense, we make it available to other churches and organizations too, and it appears on our apps page with honest status labels.
What it costs, and what we ask
It costs nothing. No fee, no subscription, no "free tier" that turns into an invoice later. If a tool ever has running costs we cannot carry, we will tell you before that happens, not after.
What we ask in return:
- Time from one person to test early versions and give honest feedback.
- Patience with a roadmap that moves at the pace of a small team.
- Permission to share what we build with others, so the work travels further than one church.
What we do not ask for: your people's data, an endorsement, a testimonial, a logo on our site, or any claim that we are affiliated with your church. We support the local church; we do not speak for it.

A useful first message
Three things are enough:
- Who you serve, and where.
- The need you see, in your own words. What keeps not working?
- What you have tried already, if anything.
Please leave out anything private about individuals in your congregation. We do not need it to understand the need.
